Bible book of Revelation Chapter 21 and 22 reveals beautiful details of the heavenly city

Rev 21: Verse 18 : And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

Revelation 22  1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb

These beautiful descriptions and more are the basis of the song I wrote and sing: The City of Gold. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think.

To me it is very exciting as a Christian to know that the God of the universe wonderfully let us have glimpses into the world to come.

These chapters explain which groups of people will be allowed in to the city and which groups will not be allowed in.  I take God at His word, hope you do too!

Why does Larry Hayden produce Christian videos and music?

I spend a lot of time producing Christian videos and Christian music. Videos and songs of encouragement and inspiration.  Did you know that the word Gospel means Good News? These songs and videos are all about Good News!

The main reason I put the work into it is because in so doing I believe I am doing my wee little part of carrying out the great commission commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:19: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

Followers of Christ are given the command here to take their faith out into the world and preach it to all who need to hear it. Here Jesus commands his followers to evangelize and baptize people in the name of the Trinity–the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I also sing many many songs about the teachings of Jesus as found in the Bible.

Some songs are timeless gospel standards, some are gospel songs I composed myself, such as on my CD which is known by two titles, “City of Gold” and “Come To The River” On Amazon.com it is named “City of Gold.  On my own website www.LarryHaydenMusic.com it is named “Come To The River”.

At one time I had a large repertoire of secular worldly songs.  But as I became a follower of Christ, those songs faded to  back and have been replaced with my love of really meaningful songs coming from the reality of what life is really all about.

We just get one short trip here on earth, folks, and only the things we do for the Lord will last and become something that we take with us to the other side.

This song is also known as “The Song Of Moses” because it is the song taken from the bible after the event described where Pharoah’s men
who were chasing the children of Israel on horseback, all drowned as God opened up the Red Sea for the Israelites to cross on dry land but caused the waters to close up again after the Israelites were on dry ground. And yes, I believe it.

Larry Hayden is recording artist – Christian singer, lead guitarist, and song writer.

He is 66 years of age and he has been a Christian bible-believing follower of Jesus since 1965.

He served as worship leader for several churches.

Larry is someone who just LOVES music!

He Loves singing and playing guitar, writing lyrics and music, and especially recording music,
especially inspirational music honoring the Lord.

He has played with many bands, singing and playing lead guitar for over 30 years.

His main instrument is the guitar, but he also plays bass and some piano.

Larry likes to quip “I have been playing the guitar for 49 years…I am hoping to get the hang of it soon…”

This is my first post about myself and my music website at www.LarryHaydenMusic.com where you will find my many CD’s to listen to for free. You can buy one, if you must. Hmm. Where are the smiley faces here in WordPress? Huh? Oh, here’s one now –> :)

Hey I have been around so long I hesitate to buy green bananas.  Think about it….

Seriously I am not that old, but I have been singing and playing the guitar and writing songs for 49 years.
I am hoping to be able to get the hang of it soon.  :) <–Look! a yellow smiley face!

 Next year it will be 50 years. That is because I can add 1 plus 49.  Trying to be funny. Yeah, I know, I just failed.
