“Regardless of what happens in your life, remember that God’s grace is sufficient to carry you through and help you come out victorious. You do not even have to ask God for his grace. He tells us his grace is available and sufficient. We may need to ask for his help to rest in his grace but his grace is already available.

Where do you need grace today? God’s grace IS available. God’s grace IS sufficient.”

A prayer you can pray is:

Lord, I thank you for the grace you have available to me today. Help me to rest in your grace. Help me not to worry or fret but to know you love me more than I can ever imagined. Today I choose to let your grace be sufficient for me today.”

How do we accomplish our life purpose? In his sermon “The Purpose Driven Life” Johnny Hunt states “The purpose of your life is far greater than your happiness. It’s far greater than your personal fulfillment, success, your dreams or ambitions.”

As Christians, the meaning of life is our preparation for eternity. We must utilize our talents while here on Earth to spread the news about the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We need to pass on what we have learned to non-believers.

We will not retain the things we have learned unless we share our knowledge with others. We must also continue to spiritually grow through fellowship. As Hunt states, “We should not stop gathering together with other believers. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more.”

A father’s love is what shapes the child

Who is the strongest spiritual influence in a child’s life? The most important influence is their father because children may not recognize God as their heavenly Father if their father doesn’t have a heart for God. In his sermon “A Father’s Love” David Cawston states, “One of the greatest gifts that you can give to your children is the knowledge that they are loved, fully and unconditionally by their father.”

A father’s love makes him provide financially for his children. However, fathers need to also lead their families with Godly authority. This authority is best followed by the example of Jesus Christ’s authority and love for mankind. A father’s love is forgiving of his children’s mistakes, in order to guide them into becoming Godly adults.

In God, all tribulation has an expiration date!

Are you going through a time of difficulty in your life?

Maybe it is in your marriage, your job, your family, your health? Maybe the poor economy has you on the ropes financially?

Whatever your situation it is in such times that we must turn to God, who in the final analysis is the only source of true hope. Get out your Bible, or access the Bible online to http://www.biblegateway.com

Search there steadfastly for thoughts and ideas from God upon which you can anchor your faith. Upon which to stand fiirm. Upon which you can exercise your faith.

And keep in mind always and constantly that it is absolutely true that IN GOD ALL TRIBULATION HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE.

Do you think that there is tribulation and suffering in your final destination in Heaven as a believer in Christ? NO!

Do you believe that there will be sickness and death there? NO! Do you think there will be financial hardship and suffering there? NO!

Listen now to what it is like in Heaven, listen to the words in my song “City of Gold” – turn on your volume and contemplate the words which I took directly from the Bible, the Book of Revelation.

The Bible teaches that our life span on earth is minuscule, like one drop of water in the ocean. The Bible also teaches that we will never be given more than we can bear. If you are a believer who has been washed in the blood of Jesus, there is NOTHING that happens to you that He won’t turn it around for good for you in the end. Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Contemplate the words of the song “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus”
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.”

How to know God

Introduction
The Christian’s greatest desire is for people to come to know God personally. The simple truth is that there is a God who created you and loves you very much. (Genesis 1:1) He gave us life and deserves our gratitude and love.

Step 1: You are a Sinner
We, however, have chosen to disobey Him and sin against Him; all of us have done wrong and failed to do what is right. (Romans 3:23) We may not be more sinful than our neighbor, or we may be far worse than anyone we know, it does not matter. Either way, we are guilty before God.

Step 2: Penalty for Sin is Death
God is perfect, completely good, always right and fair. He cannot tolerate sin. He cannot simply overlook the fact that we have chosen to disobey Him. The Bible says “the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23) This means that the fair payment for our rebellion against God is death. It is the punishment that we deserve.

Step 3: Christ Died for You
Jesus, the one and only Son of God, came to earth and lived a perfect sinless life. He was crucified even though He was completely innocent. He received the punishment that we deserved. He was the perfect sacrifice, He was put into our place and took on Himself the sentence of death that should have been ours. (Romans 5:8) Jesus did not, however, remain dead. After three days, He rose from the grave and later ascended into heaven. He will return for all those who are trusting in Him as their Savior.

Step 4: You Can be Saved Through Faith

Jesus died for you.(John 3:16) You can be saved by believing in Him and asking Him for forgiveness from your sins. If you are willing to repent of your sin, He is waiting to forgive you. It doesn’t matter what you have done in the past, if you cry out to Jesus for forgiveness, He will not reject you. The word “repent” literally means “to turn away from.” You need to look at your life, admit that you are a sinner, genuinely desire to turn your back on that sin, and ask Him to forgive you. If you do this, He promises to forgive you.

True Christianity is not about attending a particular church, or how your parents raised you, or what country you were born in. Being a Christian means that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that He is your Savior. It’s not good enough that your priest, pastor, mother, or aunt knows Jesus, you must know Him for yourself. They cannot believe in Him for you, you must believe for yourself. They cannot repent for you, you must repent for yourself. Jesus is everywhere all the time. He can hear you now if you ask Him for forgiveness. Please turn your life over to Him NOW.

Step 5: Invite God In

Time slips by so quickly, don’t miss this opportunity. If you want to pray and ask Jesus to be your Savior, you can say a prayer something like this:

“Jesus, I know that I have sinned against you. I know the truth is that I have sinned by my own choice, and I am the one responsible for it. I know that I have earned punishment from You, and that the fair punishment would be death. Jesus, I believe that You died in my place. Forgive me for my sin. I cannot cover or take my sin away, I am relying totally and only on You. You are the only one who can save me. I reject my sin, I turn away from it, I repent. Come into my life, take away my sin, and show me how to live my life in a way that is right and pleasing to You.”

If you have prayed this, YOU ARE SAVED! (Romans 10:13)You are now completely forgiven, a new creation, innocent in the eyes of God. Welcome to the family of God!

Step 6: Get Connected

It is important for you to start to grow in your relationship with Jesus. Just like any relationship, you need to spend time with someone if you want to know them well. The way to know God is through the Bible. It’s also important to find a church you can attend where they teach the Bible. This will allow you to talk with a pastor who will help explain questions you might have, and it will give you a chance to spend time with other Christians who can encourage you.
